XStoryPlayer is a 3D sex and puzzle game designed by X Moon Productions. The game comes with two story modes for playing and four modes where you can simply choose to have sex. However, in order to unlock all of the features of the game, you have to play through all of the game’s story. First, you will start with the “Dark Dreams” story, where you will play the part of a man at the gym who hits on every woman that crosses his path. In the end, you get to have sex with two girls. Next is the “Wet Dreams” story. Here, you will play the part of a paparazzi who sleeps with sexy models after taking photographs of them. The last story is “Tentacle Dreams”, which is still under development.

XStoryPlayer Review

While it isn’t a bad idea to play this game entirely in series, the problem is that when playing the puzzle or adventure part of the game, you can get bored. For instance, during the first scene in the game, all you do is wake up, turn on the lights, search for and find your keys and then leave your apartment. It will take you a whopping 15 minutes to do this, when it should really only take you about 60 seconds.

It feels like it’s created as more of an opportunity to familiarize players with the controls of the game. Instead of the conventional controls used in a first-person shooter (FPS) or other sex game, the characters in XStoryPlayer are controlled using left, right, up and down tilting motions.

In order to pick up your keys, your character must carefully maneuver around certain obstacles and then, stopping half-way down, you push the “CTRL” button to make your character manipulate objects, twist your character’s body to look for the keys and then click on the keys with the mouse in order to make your character pick up the keys. Finally, you switch back to movement mode to make your character stand up.

It really is a lot of trouble just to pick up keys. In fact, this is the same frustration you’ll encounter when performing other activities in the game as well – a simple action like entering your penis into a model can take minutes to perform. The controls aren’t difficult to grasp, but certainly aren’t well thought out either.

Design your women

The game offers the necessary clues for completing each task. Your character’s reward for completing the adventure component is the opportunity to have sex with beautiful women.

Despite the impressive graphics and the fact that the voice is the same as when having sex with a real girl, the sexual performance feels almost robotic. In my opinion, this activity could be more immersive. You have the option of speaking with girls through the use of the keyboard keys and they can respond to common sexual requests, among other things. As I’ve explained previously, undressing the women can be a hassle and the act of penetration can take forever. One more thing to note, you are not able to adjust the angle of the camera when having intercourse.

On a positive note, XStoryPlayer offers you some sex toys like nipple clamps and whipping toys. There are also different dildo styles to choose from. Unfortunately, you are only allowed to have sex with one girl in one location but every scene has its own theme; for instance, sexual bondage, sex by the pool, etc. When using the sex toys, the girls you are having sex with will either respond with hard or soft play, depending upon your preference. Once you are satisfied, pressing a button will generate you money which you can set down anywhere.

Your weapon of choice

When playing in story-mode, you have the option of playing with different characters and each has its own strength and skill level. As I stated at the beginning, all of the characters are locked until you have played through all of the stories. While each character has different skill-sets, there didn’t seem to be any real difference in the gameplay.

You can select from four available sex scenes when playing in fast mode and you have the option of choosing different character appearances like penis size, skin color and clothing. You can also play in “rag doll” mode, though it’s not really recommended because the girls you are pounding are motionless and will just fall hard onto the ground.

Conclusion

The XStoryPlayer is a sex game with a lot of challenges that will either thrill you or bore you. If you are the type of player that prefers online games with a lot of updates, then I suggest you steer clear of this game. But if you don’t mind sitting in front of your PC all day trying to identify solutions, then this game could be something that interests you. Another positive aspect of the game is that it is compatible with the newest version of the Oculus Rift, though you’ll need Runtime version 0.7 or higher in order to play the game. Overall, XStoryPlayer can be fun and challenging, but it most definitely still has room for improvement.
